Our Parrot!

Wyatt is starting to talk so much. It seems like he is gaining a word a day. I love his little voice and how he is beginning to tell us what he wants. What a fun age...well minus the throwing on the floor tantrums and the continual whining. Although it can really make matt and I laugh at the pathedic-ness of it. Love this kid.

Tractor Slide

We went to the Farm this past weekend. It was an awesome day... The video is of Wyatt going down a slide, the conversation went something like this....
Me: Should I go with him?
Matt: No
Me: It's a long drop.
Matt: He'll be fine.
Then Wyatt takes a dive into the rocks. SEriously!?

Sweet Summertime!

The sweetest thing ever is to watch Nathan and Wyatt grow closer. Nathan is so patient, kind, and loving towards Wyatt. It is so fun to watch!

Cool, calm, and collected- that's Wyatt, most of the the time. He is getting too BIG! Time really does fly by when you are having fun!

Loving the Spring!

An afternoon at the park when Matt had the week off. It was so nice spending a beautiful day at the park with my two guys.

Wyatt is still loving his Maggie kisses and snuggles. Wyatt lights up when he sees Maggie, whether it be after his nap or in the morning, when we come home, or just when she is relaxing and he walks across the room to lay his head on her. His love of dogs is just fantastic. He cracks up everytime he sees a dog.
Wy found more enjoyment in the water than anything else at Matt's first triathalon of the season. Seems to find water and dirt and messes everywhere we go. SUCH A BOY!

Easter goodies. This year's Easter was so different than last year! He just is getting more and more fun!

Vegas!

March was a fantastic month, not only did we get to see Bear and Eva, we got to spend a fantastic week in Vegas with family. We spent too much time in the casino, too little time by the pool, and ate some amazing food! Like a TON of amazing food. Elliot, one of the greatest people in the world, met us in Vegas for a few hours and I was beyond surprised and thrilled he was there. It was a FUN week! We also got to spend a little time with our dear friends, the Neibaurs! We love that family.

A few pool pics... I was made fun of how I dressed my kid: hat, rash guard, long shorts, and 70 spf. Apparently everyone else thought he was a little overprotected, I was comfortable knowing he wasn't going to burn.

Ell and I finally lived to see a promise that was made a long time ago. It might not have been with the original Bob Barker, but it was so unbelievable to have Ell in Vegas with us. He made the Price is Right that much more fantastic. A surprise that I will forever remember, thank you ell and dad!!!

We spent quite a bit of time "exploring" the casinos, and the blackjack tables, and the craps tables, and the slot machines. We had the "itch." thanks mom for watching the little guy!!

Weekend with Family

Had a great weekend with family! Both Uncles and Aunt Eva were able to come in town for my grandparents 67th anniversary party and we loved having everyone together again. Wyatt got so much attention. We are so blessed to have such an amazing family!!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

The kid is trouble. Curious as curious can be, but trouble!! Every moment Wyatt is up to something, he is a very busy little kid. He loves to play in water: tiolet water or Maggie's water- given the opportunity, he is in it. Wyatt loves to feed Maggos, handfuls of food are grabbed and thrown on the floor at Maggie's feet. He is climbing everything, shelves, couches, the stairs, the tables, the ottoman. Cabinets have been locked down, but the drawers have yet to be and every moment I turn around to pick something up, a million more messes are made. My life revolves around running after this munchkin and constantly putting away pans, toys, books, vds, diapers, office supplies, tupperware, etc. As annoying as it can be, I am normally laughing at the ridiculous speed this kid can get into trouble and loving every moment of it. He is an absolute blast. Love you wyguy.

Happy Birthday Wyguy!!

Wyatt turned one! We had a few family members over to celebrate his special day and what a day it was! He woke up from his nap a clingy, crabby mess and we thought for sure it was going to be a disaster with everyone at our house with Wyman completely overwhelmed. He was awesome. Wyatt ate up the attention and also a huge hunk of cake. Our house was bombarded by gifts between Christmas and his Birthday, and we will be still trying to find a "place" for them when next year comes around!! We are so blessed to be around family who love Wyatt as much as we do. Happy Birthday little man. We love you so much!
