My Favorite Sounds

Wyatt is finding his voice! It is so fun, but next to impossible to catch on camera. I tried my best to capture his sweet voice to edit for the blog, but he is a bit camera shy! Here are a few though...I apologize for how obnoxious I sound, Wyatt must be annoyed of my voice, I know I was when editing this!:) And the poor kid is going to get a big head from the amount of times I remind him he is the cutest! haha...love you guys

Our Short, Fat Kid:)

We went last Friday for Wyatt's two month checkup- TWO MONTHS! What the heck!? The poor kiddo got his first series of shots, in which I did worse than he did. We both cried- there has got to be another way, that was just terrible. I am all ready dreading the next appointment! Anyways, he was measured/weighed and we got ourselves a porker! Wy was 50% for height and 70% for weight. hehe, short, fat kid.

Our House Downstairs:)

Ok Here are pictures of the downstairs of Matt and I's house. It isn't really too exciting, just one big room that has the living room, dining room, and kitchen. We really liked the openness of the floorplan. It isn't big, but just what we need! I will post pictures of the upstairs, once I have actually cleaned it! ha! I am not posting pictures of the way we actually live:)!

A little bit of this, A little bit of that

Here are just a few random happenings here in the Mitchell Household... a picture of Wyatt with his Uncle Bob and Aunt Les, a pic with his cousin- Nathan, a pic with Grandma and Mags, a pic on Matts bday, and a couple just hanging out being Wyatt:). 

We have learned that Wy loves looking at the fan, loves his mobiles and playmat, loves looking at our black mirrors on the wall, can take a bottle, and hates to be tickled. HATES IT! He has become so much more alert and will spend minutes just looking at your face! My favorite has become his smiles which are becoming a little more common and each one continues to melt my heart! He is our little stud! 

First Bath, First Buckeye Game

Wyatt wasn't too sure about the bath at first, but once Matt started

 making sure he was constantly wet, Wyatt

 was content. Not sure if he "loved" it, but he wasn't complaining! Wyatt slept through most of the Buckeye

 Game, which

 ended up a bummer anyways. Hopefully someday he will share his father's love for the game and for his team!

 Uncle Bear and Aunt Eva

 got Wyatt the shirt- it is a 6 month shirt, but hey we had to dress

 him appropriately for the game!:) Who needs pants anyways. 

Fifteen Minutes Into Three

So, I was chilling with Wyatt and got out the video camera. It stayed focused on him for almost fifteen minutes. I had so much fun watching his faces that I edited it down to three minutes and made a video. I can't believe that I have become one of "those moms." You know the moms I am talking about...the moms who think their child is the CUTEST CHILD in the whole entire world. Gosh darn-it. Tell me when you get sick of hearing it from me!  (Oh and I know it says five minutes...but I just didn't cut the song down.)

What else is there to do?

What else is there to do...change diapers, nurse, and post new pics on the blog. Pretty new and exciting life! It is amazing how fast the days go by and I have nothing to show for it, but a bag full of diapers (which by the way cost way too much for how fast you go through them!). I am loving my time at home with Wyatt.
